Homecoming 2005

Normally I don’t go to “school functions” or dances for school because I consider myself anit-social and anti-anything the school does.

So, I had to go get “nice clothes” - if you know me I (up until now) didn’t own a dress shirt, nice shoes or some dress pants. So mom and I went out by the mall and spent ~$300 on CLOTHES just for freaking homecoming! We bought two different dress shirts, one grayish one and a light blue one, a nice pair of black dress pants, some nice shoes (which KILLED!) and while we were there I picked up a pair of slippers and a hoodie ;) but anyways.

Homecoming started at 8:00 so we went and picked up cartman at 7:10 so we could leave at 7:20 (10 minutes allowed because parents had to take pictures :/) so we actually left on time, and got there early, and stood outside with Jasper and a couple other people, then around 7:45 the people started coming up and getting dropped off, so we went across the parking lot with Carly and everybody and stood around her mom’s mini cooper (don’t ask) until about 8:05 then cartman and I went inside and into the dance.

For being a school thing it was pretty nice, except the DJ didn’t understand the concept of BASS or the concept of too much bass = too much disortion. So like I said, other than that and a couple spurts of “drama” it was nice.

Now, my mom took some pictures, but I’m only showing two of them:

Yeaaaah. I remember schools events. It’s always somewhat ackward at first but once you do it once, it all becomes natural from then on. I attended most if not every school event in my time.

Homecoming was pretty sweet at my school. A Junior Varsity and Varsity football game (in which the Varsity shut out Archbishop Mitty and JV won over), free food (for me, at least), friends, girls, the whole bit. It was an awesome experience. They had floats and some pretty sweet cars (for the homecoming kings and queens).

I’d go to my school events, except for (1) school events in middle school are more or less pointless, and (2) the music always sucks, admission and food is overpriced, and all but 2 girls in the school aren’t conforming bitches (conform too much, not special. McRae and SiSi aren’t conformists, so they are unique - which is why I likes them).
