Well, my 5 week report came in today, and I always open it before mom does so I know what to expect, I didn’t do too bad I improved majorly in English, but dropped in French and Gym (gym because of my foot), so that’s what I gotta pickup these next 5 weeks.

good job on the improvements! and hopefully you can get out of your AIS Science. you have tests, quizzes, and hw in PE? what kind of class is that?
It’s the damn teacher, they all give HW, but she counts it more, like last year I didn’t do any HW for Mr. Roberts and I still got out with a 90, now I realize that Ms. Haight takes this HW thing more seriously.

That Sucks. I hope you do better. Why would any school send out interim over the Holiday Break?!?! Is beyond me.
In PE class, we do have occasional homework and a couple tests, though shouldn’t she count your foot, as a medical, if you have a doctors note, heck i am out all year in that class with a medical problem, long story.
You have to take two science classes in a year?!? God, Last year I took biology, and this year chemistry, next year physics. In my school district some schools dont offer chemistry, though my school offers both, chemistry is an option basically an elective, I may take earth history later on in the next two years however. Honestly they should have biology last, when you already have the knowledge of physics (human movement) and chemistry ( for the body compounds.)
Geometry is fairly easy, if you know what you are doing, I am currently in this course and I find it very easy. Alot of algebra is involved, though just think next you will take Trig! (if thats the way your school district follows the same as mine. Pre Alg (7th) Alg 1 (8th) Alg 2 (9th) Geom (10th) Trig (11th) Pre Calc (12th), at least for thee honorss students, though the sequence is proabably the same for everyone.
English… is your teacher gay? For some reason I would hate having a male english teacher. In English class, in high school, i have found out that you really only read the literature, all the grammar is in elementary and middle school. Glad to see you are bringin yourr grade up
The world history courses I have always found difficult, though all it is memorization, its not like a math equation or a chemical compound, which means you could have different answers. American history is easiest because we live in America.
Health class, I have no clue about because I am not taking it this year. Probably in my junior and senior year.
French why dont you just drop french, Unless you need four years of it, some schools i know do. My school only requires two. Glad to seee you are continuing your language studies.

My school doesnt really allow that sort of thing. These were a few observations from a timid observer. Merry Christmas.
Believe me, our PE class is a *class*. We have to turn in our workout logs (Strength & Conditioning, we lift weights vs. play games) and we had a final…which I bombed I believe. But I have no finals in January *points and laughs*
i wouldnt mind PE workouts .. i lift a good bit. my schools math goes prealg, alg1(8th), geometry(9), ALG3/TRIG(10), PRECALC(11), AP CALC (12)… but its a private school that kills you with work…
