Goodbye 2005. We had some good times, some great times, but also a lot of bad and awful times. In your last hours, an age ended. The age of foruming and possibly other things besides.
I don’t care what the people say. They can mock me, say I’m a dumbass, loser, fool, whatever. It may cease to matter in 2006, but that largely depends on not just my mourning, but in how people conduct their friendships with me and I with them. All I know is I had a vision, I believed in something once, maybe it was taken too seriously. Time was invested in this hobby, because I loved it, I enjoyed it. Maybe it was never worth a shit, maybe no one but me gave a damn.
Some things are best kept to one’s own mind though. As the saying goes “You never know what you had, until you lost it.” I hope you all realize what we’ve lost. It was not for better, it was not for worse, but both in this case.
Come what may, Happy New Year’s to you all. Here’s to good things 2006, here’s to hoping I find better things to replace what I lost last year and may lose this year.
Yeah, this was a comment turned into a blog entry and it will in fact be posted on my podcast blog. If you didn’t like, then oh well. I’ll have my say thankyouverymuch.
FUCK 2005!!!
