Progress

Update after my consult and same day bloodwork. I have to start a “bland” diet from now until Surgery, which means mostly lettuce and light foods, big change.

Calling my dad tonight to see if he can come up because there is some risk that I could have major complications, so I and my mom want him to be here for this, considering he was here for my last surgery.

Anyways, I’m taking it easy and back to school tomorrow.

egads, I’m confident everything will turn out great for you, and hopefully this will be the last of any health issues for years to come.
(I must say though, I really like the vlog type thing)

Yeah, the vlog idea is nice, saves me from having to type a lot, and you can actually see my reaction(s) and hear my voice. Well I’ll never have a “last health issue” because there’s a 99% chance that I’ll be Insulin Resistant/Diabetic for the rest of my life, because my metabolism is very low and I doubt that I could lose enough weight for my Insulin number to come down.

Larry, best of luck in your surgery. I too like your VLogs; keep up the good work. :) I’m sure everything will work out. My uncle has his gall bladder out about 5 years ago, when I was about 10, and he is perfectly fine.

Simply for the sake of encouragement, I lost 40 pounds and have kept it off for a year. It was change, but it really wasn’t too hard. I worked out for 15-20 minutes a day and ate whatever I wanted, just small portions. So, never say never. :)

I think Larry needs to ‘lose’ me and cartman, whenever we are around all we want to do is eat, and of course, monkey see, monkey do.

Hello, I thought I’d like to say, my Mom too had gallstones and as far as I can remember there are two types of surgery, theres keyhole and the other one which involves a scalpel I think. You should be OK as most people normally don’t have any problems with gallstone-removing and all the best, they do give you the gallstones in a little tube afterwards.
