It seems Nadim is going through some tough times:
Nadim Kobeissi is a teenage boy living in Beirut, Lebanon. He has a special affinity and talent for web design, and is also an avid Macintosh user. Nadim is a very kind individual, and is a well-respected member of several online communities, where many people worldwide have come to know him and his work.
If you go here you can donate to Nadim, as I plan to do very soon. I highly recommend supporting him, he’s a great kid!
People, please do what you can to help this guy out. If you can’t donate, mention him on your blog or digg the story.
I don’t believe this, maybe it is just me. Though if “Nadim’s” father died of a heart attack, I believe that begging for money would be the last thing that would be on his priority list; designing a website for it, registering a domain name, and the fact that Lebanon is being bombed. Also if his home is destroyed, and he is in Lebanon, wouldn’t he be one of those people being evacuated, or in a shelter, where an internet connection is unlikely. Maybe it is just me, but the whole story seems fishy, as in the Nigerian Scam. Forgive me if I am wrong.

Nadim didn’t set this up, insomniac from macteens did, Nadim didn’t even ask for help in the first place. It’s not a scam.
