I have in my larry[at]amacgenius[dot]com inbox as of right now, with the first email dated December 28, 2005 to just a few minutes ago on August 22, 2006.
Now, 1500 emails sitting in my inbox (that’s after I’ve deleted the spam) is quite a lot, although I know nowhere near the email inboxes some of these famous tech people have (ex. Leo Laporte, Kevin Rose, Woz, etc). Also that’s probably nothing compared to some of your inboxes.
Look I just got another email, this one from eBay about an item I never receieved, there’s one I have to keep.
Anyways I guess this is a post so I can compare my inbox to say, yours. That’s right, post your inbox in the comments, I’m curious.

Something weird was happening and showed a screenshot of your MySpace page instead of the inbox. Maybe some weird cache or something. It’s showing fine now.
My Inbox currently has 150 messages, but I separate a lot of my mail into other mailboxes using rules. I have 858 messages when you include the other mailboxes.
2543 since October 2005 and that doesn’t include all the spam and probably 100 or so I’ve deleted.
I’m sort of ruthless with the deletion of mail, so my primary inbox currently only has 114 messages, going back to last June. My school email address inbox has 536, dating back to September 2005.
I’m really ruthless with the deletion of email as well - everything is stored on Gmail should I decide I need it later on, so in the mean time anything immediately unimportnat can be deleted right now. That includes blog comments and stuff like that.
The only things that are saved are things requiring followup (for perusal, which then gets deleted when complete) and human interest (saved -> important, when someone sends me a giant brain dump). Other than that it is pretty empty.
