I’m really starting to get into this, I love my camera (Powershot S3 IS), I love that so many people are willing to help me out by posing (Eden, Carly, Cartman, etc) and I just love the resulting photos I get as I watch them import into iPhoto.
I’ve currently got 1363 photos, I used to have a ton more, but it seems 99% of my pre-2006 photos disappeared somewhere, but that’s fine, just gives me more room/time to take more.
What kind of rig (camera) do you have and what’s a good photo you’ve taken with it?
I have a powershot S3 IS I love it! people do look at me differently they look at more like a photographer and not a kid with a camera.
Exactly, it’s not like “wow he’s just taking a picture of me for the hell of it, with a shitty camera” it’s “wow, he’s got a nice camera, this must be important”.

haha. i am asked all of the time, “is that an slr?” Of course, larry you can buy some cool sh ite for it. I have a hood set, telefoto converter, tripod and an awesome case. I just searched for s3 is on amazon and found a lot of cool things!!

That’s good. Photography and blogging is definitely starting to go together nowadays. It’s become a personal hobby of mine that I upgraded from my point-and-shoot to a DSLR.
I’m have some 8.1MP Hitachi Point-and-Shoot which is a POS but I’m buying a D40 next month so I can take some decent pictures and get into DSLR’s.

I’ve got a rebel D. I suggest you buying a real camera, the new Canon 400D is great.
Hckyso doesn’t have a D2Xs, and neither does the person that he works for. He has a D200, well he upgraded to a 5D, but I don’t know why he would say that.
I have a D50 also, and by the way, the Canon Rebel sucks. I sell digital cameras for a living.
