Check this guy out, he’s bought his domain name (www.milliondollarhomepage.com) and he wants a million dollars for college. He’s selling ad space on the site, nothing new there. However, he’s selling it off in 10×10 pixel blocks.
Added by Me: It’d be cool if I did something like this
but it runs the risk of getting my PP account frozen for some “fraudulent” activity or something because of the amount of funds that would be put in, then taken out, but idk I might just try it ;).
Running 288 cpu’s, 144 GB of ram, and only 11.5 TB of disk space.
This is freaking crazy, and must have cost a lot of money!

Update: Added the “logo”.
I made the choice to switch the host for AMG, if you don’t already know AMG is on a totally different server and plan than any of my other sites or any sites hosted on CreativeLive.
I used to host AMG with Eleven2 (pronounced ElevenSquared) under the “TheAppleMedia” reseller account, but that was costing me ~$50/month to host three websites (AMG, MacBrilliance, and TheUltimac) so I decided to put MacBrilliance and TheUltimac on the CL server and decided it was time for me to go on shared hosting for AMG.
After remembering a topic that was started a while ago in the Spymac forums about webhosts, I remembered a post by everybody’s favorite person - narco about a place called HostGator, which has been in business since 2002 so I feel safe enough with them.
Now AMG uses a lot of resources and bandwidth (don’t ask me why, but people actually like reading this blog) and so I had to get a nice plan with a good amount of bandwidth and unlimited MySQL db’s (I still have a couple of them to import, so no Mint for now :() and so I went with HostGator’s “Swamp Croc” plan. So far I’m happy with it, I transferred all my AMG data privately using the IP I was assigned to further prevent problems
so all is good now.
Also, I said I might “reboot” the site, and if you haven’t noticed by now - I did. It’s nothing spectacular, just a much needed “simplifying” of Squible. I like this one, it’s simple and white is good - good color. But eventually I will employ my skills that I learned from the latest book I read, but until then you’re stuck with this ;). *snore* bye bye!
