Ok, so many people have been asking so here’s the story.

I traded my PSP and paid shipping for the iBook, the only problem with it was the LCD was cracked, causing it to be “bad”. So I bought a replacement from a guy on the MacRumors forums, that he pulled from another 500mhz iBook, I also bought working RAM and Airport Card from this guy.

I had to have skoker do the swapping because I would fuck something up, so I was at his house last night watching him, and after about a 4+hr ’surgery’ we were finished. We go to boot the computer, and we hear the Mac “bong” then all of a sudden LINES!.

So we thought it was logic board shit out, so we took it to the Apple store today and they said it isn’t that because it works with an external monitor, so they’d fix it for $300+tax which is fucking ridiculous, so long story short, skoker is trying some other things before we give up on this damn thing.

Any more questions can be posted in the comments and I’ll do my best to answer them, I just hate it when people ask me on iChat…
