Well, the dust has settled, Apple.com loads all dandy again, and the QT stream of the keynote actually works for most people, MWSF keynote is over. I, along with other people who blog weren’t all that thrilled with what was released, let me elaborate.

Macs

MacBook Pro

• Crappy Name
• Lacking FW 800
• No battery life posted
• Big top bezel
• Seem more gray

iMac

• Same design
• That’s all the beef I have with iMac

Software

iLife ‘06

• Revolves around .mac
• Only 1 new app (iWeb)
• Not much new

iWork ‘06

• Wasn’t highlighted at keynote
• What are the new features?
• No numbers?

Overall, it was a pretty depressing keynote for me, and for Mac rumor sites who wanted an Intel iBook or Mac mini Media Center, or Front Row for all Macs, better luck next year!
