Well, trying to think of a new avatar for my MR profile (link), I had a few ideas to replace Chef, but nothing really struck me - so all of a sudden I glanced at a UPS receipt for something I shipped out, and at the top it said UPS Store #5490.
BINGO! My new avatar is now the UPS logo with my signature saying “Yes, my avatar is the UPS logo.”
Just felt like sharing.
Well I just finished updating to Wordpress 2.0.2 - as you can tell everything went smoothly.
Also - just before the upgrade, I deleted the sidebar (which turned out to be the bottom bar :p) and installed a plugin that allowed me to have my flickr photos (which was the only reason I kept the sidebar) on my site, and so now if you click the Photos link, you can view all my flickr photos - all my sets, etc.
Very cool plugin - thanks to KP for the idea.
This is very cool - there’s a man named Jesse Sullivan who had a very unfortunate accident in 2001 where 70200 volts of electricity went through his body, causing him to have both arms amputated - then after waking up from a month long coma, the RIC (Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) decided he’d be a great candidate for their “bionic arms”.
Either way, this is really cool and you should go Read More on Jesse and his arms, and the research about them. I found this through a CNN Article but if you Google him, you get a lot more info.
No longer sick, audio file is gone ;).
The two things I hate most, being sick and having to go to school - I stayed home yesterday but I have to go today or I’ll be really far behind, so wish me luck and please don’t make fun of my voice ;).
After an unsuccessful run on trying to sell these on MR, I decided to go with 2nd choice eBay. I have a ton of items to sell, but I just put two up for now, more to come though.
