I apologize…

For the lack of blogging going on, I didn’t get home until like 5PM from school last night - and I wanted to enjoy myself, so hopefully I can find some topics and actually throw together a few posts!

Sorry.

MySpace supports Apple?

MySpace/Apple

Well I went to go check my MySpace this morning, and at the homepage - what do I see?

An ad for the MacBook Pro!

Yes, MySpace now has Apple Ads, and according to Drea there’s also one for the Intel iMac (have yet to see that one).

This is a good thing! Maybe all those stupid windows MySpace users will finally decide that they should buy one of these to make their lives less crappy. ;)

Edit: Just saw the iMac one:

raise500

raise500

Many of you asked me about my status and iChat icon last night (status: 500 icon: picture of 500) and I told you you’d know soon enough - well that time has come!

The 500 stood for raise500 - which is a donation site but the money in no way benefits me, it all goes back to the winner, which is chosen at random, let me quote some of the idea page:

So, I was looking at these sites and thought to myself “these sites benefit the person who created it” - and then it hit me why not make a site like this but to benefit somebody ELSE?

That’s exactly what I did with raise500, so far we’ve got 3 donors (including myself, but I can’t win). I think it’s a great idea and somebody will get very lucky :).

Anyways, go ahead and visit raise500, and heck - even donate a buck if you have it ;).

I’ve also started 3 discussions on various forums about it: MacRumors, Spymac, and Aqua-Soft.

Widget Watch: Sketcher

Sketcher

I recently reenabled my dashboard, and posted a topic over at MR about Recommended Dashboard Widgets. I found some good ones in my search, but most of all I LOVE Sketcher (link).

If you only download ONE widget in your life, make it this one! By the way, if you’d like to see a screenshot of my “new” Dashboard, click me.
