I have to admit that Windoze has problems and Macs have less viruses. And I’m all against Vista but OSX leopard has more bugs than vista. And since it’s a minority it’s not as well supported, which means less applications. I use Linux for the fact that It’s a minority but It has MANY applications. And it will soon crush Windoze.

But for Myspace. Tried it. Hate It. Facebook turns into it. Hate it.

To an extent I agree with most of what has been said. Myspace is 99% evil shit, but I value the 1% that is useful to me. Most of what is shown on TV is utter bollocks and yet I still own a cathode ray tube.
If you own a mac and it can’t take the heat, fine; otherwise it could be a little like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

I’ve spilt coffe, beer and coke in my white macbook and it is still running fine, 2 weeks drying each time…

Congrats on the new MBP. As soon as those came out I purchased a 2.33Ghz MBP still in the box brand new on eBay for $1850 and immediately upgrade the ram. it’s the best mac notebook I’ve ever owned.

You’ll love the macbook pros.

The whole aspect of possible not having AT&T coverage in their area is one that I’m sure a lot of people have overlooked. Fortunately, it worked great here in Queens, New York. I enjoy the features you mentioned but most impressed with Google Maps.

I didn’t even read the whole friggin post, but I bet his girlfriends p*ssy that ATT is not the only GSM operator in his area.

He’s not sure if he wants to drop Verizon, and some features like Visual Voicemail would work with another GSM operator.

I can see what you mean: checking what you run is not the most practical information ever. However, checking what your friends use is (I believe) pretty cool info to have, and that’s one of the main reasons why we build Wakoopa. Have you checked out this feature yet?

Thanks! I’m actually only 6′ maybe 6′ 1″, and that van is a 2004 I believe Kia Sedona, and the Green Car is a Dodge Challenger I don’t know the year, but it’s a friend’s dad’s car.

LOL, must be the angle. I drive a Dodge Caravan Sport. I can’t look over the top. Then again, I’m a shrimp at 5′8″.

Love the old car, “I” can’t tell from the taillights what year, but I’ve forwarded the picture to some buds who are Dodge/Hot-rod nuts, I’m sure they’ll know in 2 seconds what year Challenger that is. Then they’ll ask me if he wants to sell it!

Somewhere around system 7.x the internet hit and system 7 really collapsed. I remember trying to configure a bunch of mac systems to to do TCP/IP — maybe 7.1 or 7.5 — it was a nightmare.

I think this was one of those ‘almost killed the mac’ days. Apple was very slow to realize that TCP/IP wasn’t going away, and that AppleTalk was a problem — not a feature. (Despite many good aspects to AppleTalk, only now being resurrected via Bonjour.)

I have a few Quadras and it wasn’t a problem for me getting them connected. I think they originally had 7.5.1 or 7.5.3 installed. I have 7.6.1 on them now. I only had to get AAUI dongles for them and connect them to my router with a CAT3/5 cable. No problems and no configuring involved.
